The woods aren’t bare anymore. They’ve filled in seemingly overnight. Their lush leaves of all varieties block the view of the neighborhood across the creek, restoring a feeling of seclusion, only ten minutes from bustling shops in town. This is what we were looking for, after an extremely stressful experience of living in the city. The leaves and blooms are revitalizing in the midst of our allergies. My heart feels happy, just looking at the beauty of the all colors peeking out in the least likely spots in the the yard. It just keeps getting better. I’m looking forward to spending more time in my yard with my family and friends this summer.
