Memories Made

For as far back as I can remember, this is the first summer I’ve not taken any classes or attended any workshops for my job. Instead, I have spent time with my family. I have cooked and made things with my children. I have relaxed and had fun. I’ve had time to reevaluate my goals and think about our future. I’ve ran and lifted weights. I have loved watching my family. I’ve learned how they are growing. We have traveled and taken lessons. We’ve talked and planned. We’ve drawn and painted and made stories together. We’ve swam with friends. And we’ve read. Every single day, we’ve read. We’re enjoying our last week of adventures before I start a new year with both of my children with me. I’m so very grateful. I don’t want to forget all we’ve done and all we’ve shared!
